Slicer Stories privacy policy

In short: your videos are processed on your device and never leave it, and we do not collect personal data. The free version shows non-personalised ads from Google AdMob, which processes some technical device data to serve them (see “Ads”). With the one-time payment there are no ads.

What the app does with your videos

• You pick the video with the system photo picker. The app only receives the video you choose, not your library.
• Trimming and splitting happen on your phone. We do not upload your videos to any server, copy them off the device or analyse their content.
• To save the clips, the app asks for permission to add items to Photos. It does not need to read the rest of your library.
• If you turn on “Remove location from clips”, clips are saved without the original video’s location.

What we don’t do

• There are no accounts or sign-up.
• We use no analytics or tracking tools of our own, and we do not sell data.
• We do not access your location, contacts, camera or microphone.

Ads (free version only)

• The first exports are free and ad-free. After that you can watch an ad to export for free, or make the one-time payment, which removes ads forever.
• Ads are served by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited). We only show non-personalised ads: your interests and history are not used to choose them, and we do not ask permission to track you.
• To show and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google may process technical device data such as the IP address, device or app identifiers, device model and OS version, and your interaction with the ad. In the European Union we ask for your consent first with Google’s consent tool, and you can change it at any time in Settings.
• If you buy the full version, the app does not load ads.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own privacy policies. We never receive your payment details. The app only checks on your device whether the purchase is active, to unlock and restore it.

Data that stays on your device

The app stores your settings and the number of free exports used on your phone (in the system’s secure storage). That information is not sent to anyone.

If you email us

If you contact support at soporte@terrotools.com, we use your email address and what you tell us only to reply. We do not share it and we delete it when it is no longer needed, after 12 months at the latest.

Children

We do not collect personal data from anyone, including children, and ads are set to non-personalised.

Your rights

Because we keep no data about you, there is nothing to access or delete in our systems. Data that Google processes for ads is governed by its policy, and you change your consent in Settings. For emails you send us, you can request access, correction or deletion at soporte@terrotools.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version here with its date.
